The Phoenix Engineering staff has been working in the Electro-optical Surveillance and Avionics field for well over thirty years. We are able to propose special-to-type Cameras - through a technical marriage of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components and specialist circuit design, coupled with proven and in-service harsh environmental subsystems and enclosures. The Phoenix Engineering team provides the best possible solution throughout the lifetime of any program. All our suppliers have significant experience in meeting or exceeding the needs of military programs while providing the benefits of commercial products.
Phoenix Engineering was incorporated in 2003. Since then, the company has steadily expanded its capabilities in Program Management, Engineering and Software Services. Phoenix Engineering shares a building purpose built for high technology engineering development and support. Under the current agreement, Phoenix Engineering has access to 20,000 sq ft. of the building including assembly space and clean rooms if required.
As a Woman-Owned small business, Phoenix Engineering is eligible for small business set-asides as described by the US Federal Government FARs (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and fulfills government contractor set-aside requirements. A recent assessment by OpenRatings (a Dunn & Bradstreet company) that was based on customer feedback, rated Phoenix Engineering at 96% - an excellent rating when compared against our peers.

Phoenix Engineering specializes in the areas of project management, systems design, and system integration. Phoenix Engineering’s engineering team has extensive experience in all phases of the life cycle of a program from requirements and technical analysis through flight testing and certification to test strategy development and ATE design.
As part of an international background our staff is very familiar with export control issues associated with doing business with foreign owned entities including Foreign Ownership Control and Influence. (FOCI).
Since the company formation Phoenix Engineering has undertaken many projects successfully including: a contract to provide technical and management resources for the replacement of the multifunction CRT Cockpit displays on the T-45 with a new technology LCD display and innovative bezel.
The Department of Justice awarded Phoenix Engineering a multi-year contract to provide consultancy and management resources for the specification and design of avionics and mission electronics and surveillance systems for new aircraft. Phoenix Engineering was responsible for the overall design and specific features of the system.
Phoenix Engineering is also responsible for the overall design of a number of low light cameras. NDA’s and other agreements prohibit the disclosure of any program or project details.
